Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

Customize It Instructions

  • If using antibiotic free chicken breasts, follow same instructions.

  • If using sirloin steaks, pat dry. Add steaks to a medium non-stick pan with 2 tsp. olive oil over medium heat. Cook until steak reaches desired doneness, or 4-6 minutes per side for medium/medium-well. Rest, 3 minutes. Steak thickness can vary; if you receive a thinner steak, we recommend checking for doneness sooner.

    Make the Mashed Sweet Potatoes

    Peel and cut sweet potatoes into large evenly-sized chunks.

    Bring a medium pot with sweet potato chunks and 8 cups water to a boil. Water should cover sweet potatoes.

    Once boiling, cook until fork-tender, 14-18 minutes.

    Remove from burner. Drain sweet potatoes in a colander/strainer and return to pot.

    Add creme fraiche, 1/2 tsp. salt, and a pinch of pepper. Mash until smooth. Cover and set aside to keep warm.

    While sweet potatoes cook, continue recipe.

    Prepare the Ingredients

    Trim green beans, if necessary.

    Coarsely crush walnuts.

    Assemble the Green Beans and Chicken

    Place green beans on one half of prepared baking sheet. Toss with 2 tsp. olive oil, 1/4 tsp. salt, and a pinch of pepper. Spread into a single layer on their side.

    Pat chicken dry. Season both sides with 1/4 tsp. salt and garlic pepper.

    Place chicken on empty side of sheet and evenly top with mayonnaise, then walnuts, pressing gently to adhere.

    Roast the Green Beans and Chicken

    Roast in hot oven until green beans are tender and chicken reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 15-20 minutes.

    Carefully remove from oven. Stir softened butter into green beans until melted and combined. Sheet will be hot! Use a utensil.

    Finish the Dish

    Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping chicken with honey. Bon appétit!
