  • 8 oz. Marinara Sauce
  • 6 oz. Part-Skim Ricotta Cheese

  • 3 oz. Shredded Mozzarella
  • 4 tsp. Chicken Broth Concentrate
  • 4 Garlic Cloves
  • 2 tsp. Onion Salt
  • 2 tsp. Italian Seasoning Blend

Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

    Prepare the Ingredients

    Break lasagna noodles into smaller pieces. It's OK if pieces are not even.

    Halve and peel onion. Cut halves into 1/4" dice.

    Mince garlic.

    Remove sausage from casing, if necessary.

    Cook the Sausage

    Place a large pot over medium-high heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil.

    Add sausage and onions to hot pot. Break up meat until no pink remains and sausage reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 5-7 minutes.

    Add the Garlic

    Add garlic to hot pan.

    Stir occasionally until fragrant, 1-2 minutes.

    Add the Broth

    Add marinara, crushed tomatoes, Italian seasoning, chicken base, onion salt, 1/4 tsp. pepper, and 8 cups water to hot pot.

    Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.

    Add Pasta and Finish Dish

    Once simmering, add noodles to hot pot. Stir occasionally until noodles are al dente, 8-10 minutes.

    Remove from burner.

    Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping soup with ricotta and shredded cheese. Bon appétit!
