Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

- Ground Turkey 165° F |

If using ground turkey, break up until turkey reaches minimum internal temperature, 6-8 minutes.

1 Start the Vegetables
Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil.
Add bell peppers and half the garlic salt (reserve remaining for beef) to hot pan. Stir occasionally until tender, 6-8 minutes. -
2 Finish the Vegetables
Add bok choy and a pinch of pepper to hot pan. Stir often until tender, 3-5 minutes.
Not everyone loves bok choy; feel free to omit or modify to taste.Stir in soy sauce and sesame seeds.Remove from burner.While vegetables cook, continue recipe. -
3 Cook the Beef
Place another large non-stick pan over medium-high heat.
Add ground beef, onions, and remaining garlic salt to hot, dry pan. Break up meat until no pink remains and beef reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 4-6 minutes. Carefully drain any excess grease from pan, if desired.Stir in BBQ sauce (to taste) and yuzu dipping sauce until combined and heated through, 30-60 seconds.Kids not a fan of extra heat? Feel free to skip/reduce the BBQ sauce.Remove from burner.While beef cooks, continue recipe. -
4 Heat Rice and Finish Dish
Carefully massage rice in bag to break up any clumps. Remove rice from packaging. Place rice in a microwave-safe bowl.
Microwave uncovered until heated through, 3-4 minutes.Carefully remove from microwave. Rest, 2 minutes.Fluff rice with a fork and season with 1/4 tsp. salt.Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping rice with beef mixture and vegetables. Garnish beef with wonton strips. Bon appétit!
