Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

If using ground beef, cook in a medium non-stick pan over medium heat. Break up until beef reaches minimum internal temperature, 4-6 minutes.

If using ground turkey, cook in a medium non-stick pan with 2 tsp. olive oil over medium heat. Break up until turkey reaches minimum internal temperature, 6-8 minutes.

1 Start the Sausage
Spray both provided trays with cooking spray.
Evenly divide Italian sausage between both prepared trays. Break into bite-sized pieces and spread into a single layer. Evenly top each tray with 1 tsp. olive oil.Bake both trays uncovered in hot oven until sausage reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 15-18 minutes.While sausage bakes, continue recipe. -
2 Add the Sauce and Pasta
Tear spinach.
After 15-18 minutes, carefully remove trays from oven.Evenly divide spinach, cream base, tomato sauce, pasta, and Sicilian sauce (to taste) between both trays. Stir to combine and spread into an even layer. Trays will be hot! Use a utensil. Sicilian sauce will melt as meal bakes. Kids not a fan of extra heat? Feel free to skip/reduce the Sicilian sauce.Cover trays with foil. -
3 Add Pepperoni and Finish Meal
Bake both trays covered in hot oven until spinach is wilted and pasta is heated through, 10-15 minutes.
Carefully remove from oven, uncover, and stir trays. Trays will be hot! Use a utensil.Evenly top trays with shredded cheese, grated cheese, then pepperoni.Bake both trays again uncovered in hot oven until cheeses are melted and pepperoni is crisp, 8-10 minutes.Carefully remove trays from oven.
