Customize It Instructions

  • If using antibiotic free chicken, pat dry. Cook until chicken reaches minimum internal temperature, 5-7 minutes per side.

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

    Stem and coarsely chop cilantro.

Drain pineapples in a colander/strainer and coarsely chop.

Halve and peel onion. Mince halves.

Pat chicken dry. Don't worry about trimming. Excess fat will render while cooking and add flavor.

  2. 2

    Cook the Chicken

Place a medium non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 1 tsp. olive oil.

Add chicken and onions (reserve a pinch for garnish) to hot pan. Stir occasionally until chicken reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 8-10 minutes.

Remove from burner and stir in BBQ sauce.

  3. 3

    Assemble the Flatbreads

Place flatbreads on prepared baking sheet, flat-sides up.

Top evenly with cheese, pineapples, and chicken mixture. Spoon any remaining BBQ sauce from pan onto flatbreads.

  4. 4

    Bake the Flatbreads

Bake in hot oven until cheese is melted and edges are brown and crispy, 7-10 minutes.

    Carefully remove from oven.

  5. 5

    Finish the Dish

Plate dish as pictured on front of card, garnishing flatbread with cilantro, reserved onions (to taste), and red pepper flakes (to taste). Bon appétit!
