Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

- Ground Turkey 165° F |

Customize It Instructions

If using diced chicken breasts, pat dry. Stir occasionally until chicken reaches minimum internal temperature, 5-7 minutes.

If using Italian sausage, remove from casing, if necessary. Break up sausage until no pink remains and sausage reaches minimum internal temperature, 4-6 minutes.

1 Prepare the Ingredients
Stem and mince dill.
Core tomatoes and cut into 1/2" dice.Halve lemon lengthwise. Cut one half into wedges and juice the other half.Trim zucchini ends, quarter, and cut into 1/2" dice. Zucchini quantity may vary, but total weight will remain the same. Don't worry; recipe instructions are not impacted. -
2 Cook the Beef
Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat.
Add ground beef, dill, and 1/2 tsp. salt to hot pan. Break up meat until no pink remains and beef reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 4-6 minutes.Remove from burner. Transfer ground beef to a plate. Wipe pan clean and return to medium-high heat. -
3 Cook the Zucchini
Add 1 tsp. olive oil, zucchini, and a pinch of salt to hot pan.
Stir occasionally until lightly browned and tender, 4-5 minutes. -
4 Add the Orzo
Add orzo, buttermilk-dill seasoning, tomatoes, minced garlic and lemon basil, cooked ground beef, and 1/2 tsp. salt to hot pan. Cover and cook until orzo is heated through, 4-5 minutes.
Remove from burner.While orzo mixture cooks, continue recipe. -
5 Make Crema and Finish Dish
In a mixing bowl, combine 1 Tbsp. lemon juice, sour cream, and a pinch of salt. Set aside.
Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping orzo with lemon crema and cheese. Squeeze lemon wedges over dish to taste. Bon appétit!
