Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

Customize It Instructions

  • If using sirloin steaks, pat dry. Roast until steak reaches minimum internal temperature, 12-16 minutes. Rest, 3 minutes. Steak thickness can vary; if you receive a thinner steak, we recommend checking for doneness sooner.

    Prepare the Ingredients

    Drain beans.

    Quarter potatoes.

    Halve lime. Cut one half into wedges and juice the other half.

    Stem and mince cilantro.

    Start the Hash

    Place potatoes on a microwave-safe plate. Microwave uncovered until tender, 5-6 minutes.

    While potatoes microwave, continue recipe.

    Start the Chicken

    Pat chicken dry.

    In a mixing bowl, combine chicken, 2 tsp. olive oil, cilantro, adobo seasoning, 1/4 tsp. salt, and a pinch of pepper. Set aside.

    Finish the Hash and Chicken

    Place microwaved potatoes, corn, and beans on prepared baking sheet and toss with 2 tsp. olive oil, 1/2 tsp. salt, and a pinch of pepper. Spread into a single layer on one side of sheet and top evenly with cheese. Potatoes will be hot! Use caution.

    Place chicken on empty side of sheet.

    Roast in hot oven until cheese has melted and chicken reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 15-20 minutes.

    Cutlet thickness can vary; if you receive a thinner cutlet, we recommend checking for doneness sooner.

    While hash and chicken roast, continue recipe.

    Make Lime Crema and Finish Dish

    In another mixing bowl, combine sour cream and 1 Tbsp. lime juice. Set aside.

    Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping chicken with lime crema. Squeeze lime wedges over to taste. Bon appétit!
