Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

1 Prepare Ingredients and Toast Breadcrumbs
Core tomatoes and cut into 1/2" dice.
Cut broccoli into bite-sized pieces.Line a plate with a paper towel.Place a large oven-safe non-stick pan over medium heat. Add half the butter (reserve remaining for pasta), panko, and a pinch of salt to hot pan. Stir often until panko is golden-brown and toasted, 2-3 minutes.Transfer panko to towel-lined plate. Wipe pan clean and keep over medium heat. -
2 Cook the Broccoli
Add 1 tsp. olive oil to hot pan used to toast panko.
Add broccoli and 1/4 cup water. Cover and cook until water is almost completely evaporated, 4-6 minutes. -
3 Add the Sauce and Pasta
Uncover broccoli and add tomatoes, cream base, pesto, Parmesan, remaining butter, and garlic salt to hot pan. Stir often until combined and bring to a simmer.
Once simmering, add pasta and stir occasionally until heated through and sauce has thickened, 3-4 minutes.Remove from burner. -
4 Broil Pasta and Finish Dish
Evenly top pasta with mozzarella. Transfer to hot oven and broil until cheese is melted and browned, 4-5 minutes.
Carefully remove from broiler. Pan handle will be hot! Use oven mitts. Don't text and broil! Keep an eye on oven as cheese may burn easily under broiler.Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping pasta with toasted breadcrumbs. Bon appétit!
