Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

    Prepare the Ingredients

    Stem mushrooms and cut caps into 1/4” slices.

    Pat shrimp dry and season all over with a pinch of salt and pepper.

    Cook the Shrimp

    Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil.

    Add shrimp to hot pan and cook until pink and shrimp reach a minimum internal temperature of 145 degrees, 2-3 minutes per side.

    Transfer shrimp to a plate. Keep pan over medium-high heat; no need to wipe clean.

    Cook Mushrooms and Make Sauce

    Add mushrooms to hot pan used to cook shrimp. Stir occasionally until tender, 2-3 minutes.

    Add cream base, minced garlic and lemon basil, lemon juice, 1/2 tsp. salt, and butter. Stir often until combined, 1-2 minutes.

    Add Pasta and Finish Dish

    Add pasta, spinach, and shrimp to hot pan. Stir occasionally until pasta is heated through and spinach wilts, 2-3 minutes.

    Remove from burner.

    Plate dish as pictured on front of card. Bon appétit!
