Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

1 Prepare the Ingredients
Cut broccoli into bite-sized pieces.
Trim and thinly slice green onions. -
2 Make the Meatballs
In a mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, panko, Asian garlic, ginger, & chile seasoning (use less if spice-averse), and 1/4 tsp. salt. Form mixture into 16 evenly-sized meatballs.

3 Start the Meatballs
Place a large non-stick pan over medium heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil. Add meatballs to hot pan and roll occasionally until browned all over, 6-8 minutes.
Meatballs will continue cooking in a later step. -
4 Add the Sauce and Broccoli
Reduce heat to low. Add broccoli, garlic sesame sauce, 1/4 cup water, and cornstarch to hot pan and stir until combined.
Increase heat to medium, cover, and bring to a simmer.Once simmering, stir occasionally, 5 minutes.Uncover and stir occasionally until sauce slightly thickens and meatballs reach a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 1-2 minutes.Remove from burner.While mixture cooks, continue recipe. -
5 Heat Rice and Finish Dish
In a large microwave-safe bowl, combine rice, 2 cups water, and garlic salt. Microwave uncovered, 4 minutes.
Carefully remove rice from microwave and stir. Microwave again uncovered until water is absorbed, 2-3 minutes.Carefully remove rice from microwave. Rest, 3 minutes.Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping rice with meatball mixture and garnishing with green onions and sesame seeds. Bon appétit!
