Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

1 Prepare the Ingredients
Coarsely crush crispy tomatoes in shipping bag.
Trim zucchini ends and cut into 1/4" dice.Remove stem, seeds, and ribs, and cut bell pepper into 1/4" dice.Halve and peel onion. Cut halves into 1/4" dice. -
2 Cook the Vegetables
Place a large oven-safe non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil.
Add bell peppers, onions, zucchini, garlic and parsley seasoning, and a pinch of pepper to hot pan. Stir occasionally until tender, 6-8 minutes. -
3 Add the Sauce and Pasta
Add tortellini, marinara, garlic salt, and 1 cup water to hot pan. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.
Once simmering, reduce heat to low, cover, and cook until pasta is al dente, 3-4 minutes.Remove from burner. Stir in butter (to taste) until melted and combined. Kids not a fan of extra heat? Feel free to skip the butter. -
4 Broil the Pasta
Top pasta with cheese in an even layer.
Transfer to hot broiler and broil until cheese is melted and golden-brown, 4-6 minutes.Don't text and broil! Keep an eye on oven as cheese may burn easily under broiler.Carefully remove from oven. Pan. handle will be hot! Use an oven mitt. -
5 Finish the Dish
Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping pasta with crispy tomatoes. Bon appétit!
