Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
- Seafood 145° F |
- Chicken 165° F |
- Ground Beef 160° F |
- Ground Turkey 165° F |
- Ground Pork 160° F
Customize It Instructions

If using diced chicken breasts, pat dry. Stir occasionally until chicken reaches minimum internal temperature, 5-7 minutes.

1 Prepare the Ingredients
Halve and peel onion. Cut halves into 1/4" dice.
Pat shrimp dry and season all over with 1/4 tsp. salt and 1/4 tsp. pepper. -
2 Cook the Shrimp
Place a large pot over medium-high heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil.
Add shrimp to hot pot. Cook until pink and shrimp reach a minimum internal temperature of 145 degrees, 2-3 minutes per side.Remove from burner. Transfer shrimp to a plate. Reserve pot; no need to wipe clean. -
3 Cook the Onions
Return pot used to cook shrimp to medium heat and add 1 tsp. olive oil. Add onions and Italian seasoning to hot pot.
Stir occasionally until tender and lightly browned, 6-8 minutes. -
4 Make Sauce and Add Shrimp
Stir softened cream cheese, garlic salt, cream base, and 1/2 cup water into hot pot. Bring to a simmer.
Once simmering, add pasta and shrimp. Stir occasionally until heated through, 3-5 minutes.Remove from burner. -
5 Finish the Dish
Stir half the shredded cheese (reserve remaining for garnish), butter, and lemon juice into pasta until melted and combined.
Plate dish as pictured on front of card, garnishing with remaining shredded cheese. Bon appétit!
