Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
- Seafood 145° F |

- Ground Turkey 165° F |

If using diced chicken breasts, pat dry. Stir occasionally until chicken reaches minimum internal temperature, 5-7 minutes.

1 Cook the Shrimp
Pat shrimp dry and season all over with fiesta seasoning.
Place a large pot over medium-high heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil.Add shrimp to hot pot and cook until pink and shrimp reach a minimum internal temperature of 145 degrees, 2-3 minutes per side.Remove from burner. Transfer shrimp to a plate. Reserve pot; no need to wipe clean.While shrimp cook, continue recipe. -
2 Prepare the Ingredients
Remove stems and seeds, and cut bell peppers into 1/4" rings.
Halve and peel onion. Cut halves into 1/4" dice. -
3 Cook the Vegetables
Return pot used to cook shrimp to medium heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil.
Add onions and bell peppers to hot pot and stir occasionally until tender and lightly browned, 6-8 minutes. -
4 Add the Sauce
Add tomatoes, garlic salt, red pepper flakes (to taste), and 1 cup water to hot pot. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.

5 Add Pasta and Shrimp and Finish Dish
Once simmering, add pasta and shrimp to hot pot. Stir occasionally until pasta and shrimp are warmed through, 3-5 minutes.
Remove from burnerStir in butter until melted and combined.Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping pasta with cheese. Bon appétit!
