Before You Cook
Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
- Seafood 145° F |
- Chicken 165° F |

- Ground Turkey 165° F |
- Ground Pork 160° F

1 Prepare the Ingredients
Remove stem, seeds, and ribs, and cut bell peppers into thin strips.
Coarsely chop peanuts.Trim and thinly slice green onions on an angle, keeping white and green portions separate. -
2 Cook the Turkey
Place a large pot over medium heat and add 1 Tbsp. olive oil.
Add turkey, half the Asian garlic, ginger & chile seasoning (use less if spice-averse; reserve remaining for vegetables), half the garlic salt (reserve remaining for vegetables), and 1/4 tsp. pepper to hot pot. Kids not a fan of extra heat? Feel free to skip/reduce the Asian garlic, ginger & chile seasoning. Break up meat until no pink remains and turkey reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 7-9 minutes.Remove from burner. Transfer turkey to a plate. Return pot to medium heat. -
3 Cook the Vegetables
Add 2 tsp. olive oil, bell peppers, and remaining garlic salt to hot pot. Stir occasionally until tender, 6-8 minutes.
Add slaw mix, white portions of green onions, and remaining Asian garlic, ginger and chile seasoning. Stir occasionally until softened, 2-3 minutes. -
4 Add the Sauce
In a mixing bowl, whisk or stir vigorously orange ginger sauce (to taste), garlic sesame sauce, 1/2 cup water, and 1/2 tsp. salt. Kids not a fan of extra heat? Feel free to skip/reduce the orange ginger sauce.
Add sauce mixture and turkey to hot pot. Stir until combined and warmed through, 2-3 minutes. -
5 Add Noodles and Finish Dish
Stir noodles into hot pot. Cover and stir occasionally until warmed through and coated with sauce, 3-5 minutes.
Remove from burner.Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping noodle mixture with green portions of green onions and peanuts. Bon appétit!
