Before You Cook

Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

Customize It Instructions

  • If using ground turkey, roast until loaves reach minimum internal temperature, 20-25 minutes.

    Start the Vegetables

    Cut potatoes into 1" pieces.

    Peel and trim carrot. Halve lengthwise and cut into 1/2” half-moons.

    Place potatoes, carrots, 1 Tbsp. olive oil, garlic salt, and 1/4 tsp. salt on prepared baking sheet. Massage oil and seasonings into vegetables. Spread into an even layer.

    Roast in hot oven, 10 minutes.

    While vegetables roast, continue recipe.

    Form the Meatloaves

    In a mixing bowl, combine panko and 1/4 cup water. Let sit, 1 minute.

    After 1 minute, add ground beef, chimichurri seasoning, 1/2 tsp. salt, and 1/4 tsp. pepper. Form mixture into four equally-sized, oval-shaped loaves, about 3" in length and 2" by height.

    Add the Meatloaves

    After 10 minutes, carefully remove baking sheet from oven.

    Stir vegetables and push to one side of sheet. Sheet will be hot! Use a utensil.

    Place meatloaves on now-empty side of sheet and top with 2 tsp. olive oil.

    Finish the Vegetables and Meatloaves

    Roast in hot oven until vegetables are tender and meatloaves reach a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 15-20 minutes.

    Carefully remove from oven.

    While vegetables and meatloaves roast, continue recipe.

    Make Whipped Feta and Finish Dish

    Stem and mince dill.

    In another mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese and feta.

    Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping meatloaf with whipped feta and za'atar seasoning. Garnish vegetables with dill. Bon appétit!
