To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |

Customize It Instructions

  • If using antibiotic free chicken, pat dry. Cook in a medium non-stick pan over medium heat with 1 tsp. olive oil until chicken reaches minimum internal temperature, 5-7 minutes per side.

  • If using top round steak, pat dry. Cook in a medium non-stick pan over medium heat with 1 tsp. olive oil until steak reaches desired doneness, or 3-5 minutes per side for medium/medium-well. Rest, 3 minutes. Steak thickness can vary; if you receive a thinner steak, we recommend checking for doneness sooner.

  • If using salmon, pat dry. Add salmon, skin-side up first, and cook in a medium non-stick pan over medium heat with 1 tsp. olive oil until salmon reaches minimum internal temperature, 3-4 minutes per side.

  1. 1

    Start the Potato Wedges

Cut potatoes into 1/4" wedges and pat dry.

Place wedges, 2 tsp. olive oil, seasoned salt, and a pinch of pepper on prepared baking sheet. Massage oil and seasonings into wedges. Spread into an even layer on one half of sheet.

Roast in hot oven, 20 minutes.

    While wedges roast, continue recipe.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Tomatoes

Halve tomatoes lengthwise and scoop out center. Discard seeds.

In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, panko, red pepper pesto, and shredded cheese. Evenly divide mixture among tomatoes. Make dinnertime fun! With supervision, have your kid(s) help fill the tomatoes.

  3. 3

    Add the Chicken and Tomatoes

After 20 minutes, carefully remove sheet from oven and flip wedges. Sheet will be hot! Use a utensil.

Place tomatoes in center of sheet, cut-sides up.

Pat chicken dry. Season both sides with 1/4 tsp. salt and a pinch of pepper. Place chicken on empty side of sheet.

  4. 4

    Roast the Dish

Roast in hot oven until wedges are tender, tomatoes are browned, and chicken reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 18-20 minutes.

Cutlet thickness can vary; if you receive a thinner cutlet, we recommend checking for doneness sooner.

    Carefully remove from oven.

    While dish roasts, continue recipe.

  5. 5

Make Creamy Pesto and Finish Dish

In a microwave-safe bowl, combine creme fraiche, basil pesto, a pinch of salt, and 1 Tbsp. water.

Microwave uncovered until heated through, 1-2 minutes.

Carefully remove from microwave and stir to combine.

Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping chicken with creamy pesto. Bon appétit!
