Customize It Instructions

  • If using top round steaks, pat dry. Steak coloration may vary upon arrival due to packaging processes; steak quality and flavor will not be impacted. Cook in a medium non-stick pan with 2 tsp. olive oil until steak reaches desired doneness, or 3-5 minutes per side for medium/medium-well. Rest, 3 minutes. Steak thickness can vary; if you receive a thinner steak, we recommend checking for doneness sooner.

  1. 1

    Bake the Puff Pastry

Remove puff pastry from refrigerator. Remove any paper between puff pastry squares, if necessary. If paper is sticking, place puff pastry in freezer until firm, 5 minutes.

Halve lengthwise. Using the tip of a knife, draw diagonal lines on pastry, about 1/2" apart. Draw another set of diagonal lines crosswise from the first, forming a crosshatch. This is called scoring. Place puff pastry on prepared baking sheet.

Bake in hot oven until golden-brown, 9-11 minutes.

Carefully remove from oven and transfer to a plate. Replace foil on sheet, if desired.

  2. 2

    Start the Potatoes

    Cut potatoes into 1/2" wedges.

Place potatoes on prepared baking sheet and toss with 1 Tbsp. olive oil, potato spice seasoning, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Spread into a single layer.

Roast in hot oven, 15 minutes.

    While potatoes roast, continue recipe.

  3. 3

    Prepare Ingredients and Make Crema

    Trim green beans, if necessary.

In a mixing bowl, combine creme fraiche, pesto, and 2 tsp. water. Set aside.

Pat salmon dry and season flesh side with garlic salt and 1/4 tsp. pepper.

  4. 4

    Add Salmon and Finish Potatoes

After 15 minutes, carefully remove sheet from oven and push potatoes to one side of sheet.

Place salmon, skin-side down, on empty side of sheet and evenly top with 1 tsp. olive oil. Sheet will be hot! Use a utensil.

Roast in hot oven until potatoes are tender and salmon reaches a minimum internal temperature of 145 degrees, 14-18 minutes.

    Carefully remove from oven.

While salmon and potatoes roast, continue recipe.

  5. 5

Heat Green Beans and Finish Dish

In a microwave-safe bowl, combine green beans and 2 Tbsp. water. Cover with a damp paper towel.

Microwave covered until tender, 6-8 minutes.

Carefully remove from microwave and drain any excess liquid. Stir in softened butter, 1/4 tsp. salt, and a pinch of pepper until combined.

Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping salmon with crema and puff pastry. Garnish potatoes with cheese. Bon appétit!
