To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

If using ground beef, break up until beef reaches minimum internal temperature, 4-6 minutes.

If using steak strips, pat dry, coarsely chop, then separate pieces. Stir occasionally until steak reaches minimum internal temperature, 4-6 minutes. Rest, 3 minutes.

1 Start the Filling
Place a medium non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 1 tsp. olive oil.
Add ground turkey and diced peppers to hot pan. Break up meat until no pink remains and turkey reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 7-9 minutes. -
2 Finish the Filling
Drain and rinse beans in a colander/strainer.
Add beans, taco seasoning, cream cheese, and half the shredded cheese (reserve remaining for burrito assembly) to hot pan. Stir until combined and beans are heated through, 1-2 minutes.Remove from burner.While filling cooks, continue recipe. -
3 Make the Rice
Carefully massage rice in bag to break up any clumps. Remove rice from packaging.
Place rice, 2 tsp. olive oil, and piri piri seasoning (use less if spice-averse) in a microwave-safe bowl. Stir to combine. Kids not a fan of extra heat? Feel free to skip/reduce the piri piri seasoning.Microwave uncovered until heated through, 3-4 minutes.Carefully remove from microwave. Rest, 2 minutes.Fluff rice with a fork. -
4 Assemble Burritos and Finish Dish
Wrap tortillas in a damp paper towel and microwave until warm, 30-60 seconds.
If tortillas come folded, keep folded.Carefully remove from microwave.Place tortillas on a clean, flat work surface. Evenly divide rice, filling, salsa (to taste), then remaining shredded cheese between each tortilla, placing in center. Kids not a fan of extra heat? Feel free to skip/reduce the salsa.Fold sides of tortilla toward center, then roll bottom edge towards the top, enclosing sides tightly. Make dinnertime fun! With supervision, have your kid(s) help assemble the burritos.Plate dish as pictured on front of card, halving burrito, if desired. Bon appétit!
