Before You Cook
Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
- Seafood 145° F |
- Chicken 165° F |
- Ground Beef 160° F |
- Ground Turkey 165° F |
- Ground Pork 160° F

If using ground pork, cook until patties reach minimum internal temperature, 4-6 minutes per side.

If using ground turkey, cook until patties reach minimum internal temperature, 6-8 minutes per side.

1 Roast the Potatoes
Quarter potatoes. Place potatoes on prepared baking sheet and toss with 2 Tbsp. olive oil and ranch seasoning. Spread into a single layer.
Roast in hot oven until starting to brown, 10 minutes.After 10 minutes, carefully remove from oven. Gently stir potatoes. Sheet will be hot! Use a utensil.Roast again in hot oven until browned and tender, 15-20 minutes.While potatoes roast, continue recipe. -
2 Cook the Patties
Halve and peel onion. Cut halves into 1/4" dice.
In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, onions, and seasoned salt. Form mixture into 4 equally-sized patties.Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat. Add patties to hot, dry pan. Cook until lightly charred and beef reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 4-6 minutes per side.Top patties with cheese. Cover and cook until cheese melts, 1-2 minutes.Remove from burner.While patties cook, continue recipe. -
3 Toast the Buns
Place another large non-stick pan over medium heat and add 1 Tbsp. olive oil. Add buns, cut-side down, to hot pan. Toast until lightly browned, 1-2 minutes.
Remove from burner. -
4 Crisp Pepperoni and Finish Dish
Line a plate with a paper towel. Place pepperoni on towel-lined plate. Microwave until slightly crispy, 20-30 seconds.
Carefully remove from microwave.Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping bottom bun with half the marinara (reserve remaining for topping pepperoni), patty, pepperoni, remaining marinara, and top bun. Bon appétit!
