Cooking Guidelines

Customize It Instructions

If using chicken breast, pat dry and, on a separate cutting board, cut into 1" dice. Follow same instructions as step 2 up to adding teriyaki sauce and carrots, then cook until chicken reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 1-2 minutes.

If using ground beef, follow same instructions as step 2 up to adding teriyaki sauce and carrots, then cook until pink remains, 30-60 seconds.

If using ground turkey, follow same instructions as step 2 up to adding teriyaki sauce and carrots, then cook until pink remains, 3-4 minutes.

Prepare the Ingredients
Coarsely chop cilantro (no need to stem).
Halve lime. Cut one half into wedges and juice the other half. -
Cook the Pork
Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat, and add 1 tsp. olive oil. Add pork and seasoning blend to hot pan and stir occasionally, breaking up meat with a spoon, until starting to brown, 4-5 minutes.
Add carrots and teriyaki glaze and stir constantly until carrots start to soften and no pink remains on pork, 30-60 seconds.Remove from burner. -
Heat the Rice
Remove rice from packaging. Place rice in a microwave-safe bowl and add 2 Tbsp. water. Cover with a damp paper towel. Microwave until warm, 2 minutes.
Fluff rice with a fork. Stir in 2 tsp. lime juice and cilantro (reserve a pinch for garnish). -
Finish the Dish
Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping rice with pork mixture, and garnishing with peanuts, reserved cilantro, and crispy jalapeños (to taste). Squeeze lime wedges over dish (to taste). Bon appétit!
