Customize It Instructions

  • If using diced chicken breasts, pat dry. Stir occasionally until chicken reaches minimum internal temperature, 5-7 minutes.

  • If using shrimp, pat dry. Cook until pink and shrimp reach minimum internal temperature, 2-3 minutes per side.

  • If using steak strips, pat dry, coarsely chop, then separate pieces. Stir occasionally until steak reaches minimum internal temperature, 4-6 minutes. Rest, 3 minutes.

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Trim and thinly slice green onions on an angle, keeping white and green portions separate.

Pat sliced pork dry. Coarsely chop, then separate pieces. Season all over with garlic salt, 1/4 tsp. pepper, and 2/3 the cornstarch (reserve remaining for soup).

  2. 2

    Start the Soup

Place a medium pot over medium-high heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil.

Add carrots, corn, white portions of green onions, and a pinch of salt to hot pot. Stir occasionally until carrots are slightly tender, 2-3 minutes.

  3. 3

    Finish the Soup

Add 5 cups water, ramen pork base, soy sauce, and 1/4 tsp. salt to hot pot. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.

While soup comes to a simmer, in a mixing bowl, combine remaining cornstarch and 1 Tbsp. water. Set aside.

Once simmering, add cornstarch mixture to pot and stir occasionally until soup is slightly thickened, 1-2 minutes.

If too thick, add additional water, 1 Tbsp. at a time, until desired consistency is reached.

    Remove from burner.

    While soup cooks, continue recipe.

  4. 4

    Cook the Pork

Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil.

Add pork to hot pan. Stir occasionally until browned and pork reaches a minimum internal temperature of 145 degrees, 5-7 minutes.

Remove from burner. Kids not a fan of extra heat? Feel free to skip/reduce the orange ginger sesame sauce. Stir in orange ginger sesame sauce (to taste) until combined. Rest, 3 minutes.

    While pork cooks, continue recipe.

  5. 5

    Heat Noodles and Finish Dish

Place noodles in a microwave-safe bowl and cover with a damp paper towel.

Microwave covered until heated through, 2-3 minutes.

    Carefully remove from microwave.

Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping noodles with soup and pork. Garnish with green portions of green onions. Bon appétit!
