If using diced chicken breasts, pat dry. Stir occasionally until chicken reaches minimum internal temperature, 5-7 minutes.

If using steak strips, follow same instructions.

1 Roast the Wedges
Cut potatoes into 1/2" wedges.
Place wedges on prepared baking sheet. Toss with 2 tsp. olive oil, 1/4 tsp. salt, and 1/4 tsp. pepper. Spread into an even layer.Roast in hot oven until wedges are golden-brown and tender, 25-30 minutes, flipping once halfway through.Carefully remove from oven.While wedges roast, continue recipe. -
2 Prepare the Ingredients
Remove stem, seeds, and ribs, and cut bell pepper into 1/4" slices.
Pat sliced pork dry. Coarsely chop, then separate pieces. Season all over with a pinch of salt and pepper. -
3 Cook the Pork Mixture
Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil.
Add bell peppers and a pinch of salt and pepper to hot pan. Stir occasionally until tender, 6-8 minutes.Add pork, garlic salt, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Stir occasionally until browned and pork reaches a minimum internal temperature of 145 degrees, 5-7 minutes.Remove from burner. Rest, 3 minutes.While pork mixture cooks, continue recipe. -
4 Make the Sauce
Place a medium non-stick pan over medium heat.
Add cream base, hatch green chile peppers (to taste), and 2 Tbsp. water to hot pan. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.Once simmering, remove from burner. Stir in cheese and a pinch of salt until combined.While sauce simmers, continue recipe. -
5 Heat Rolls and Finish Dish
Heat rolls to your preference using a toaster or microwave.
Alternatively, place rolls directly on rack in hot oven, cut-side up. Toast until lightly browned, 3-4 minutes.Plate dish as pictured on front of card, filling roll with pork mixture, then sauce (to taste). Bon appétit!
