Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

1 Start the Italian Sausage and Butternut Squash
Spray provided trays with cooking spray.
Remove Italian sausage from casing, if necessary.Break sausage into bite-sized pieces and evenly divide between provided trays. Evenly top sausage with butternut squash, garlic pepper, and 1/4 tsp. salt.Bake uncovered in hot oven until butternut squash starts to soften, 15-20 minutes. -
2 Add the Broth
Carefully remove trays from oven. Evenly divide flour between trays and stir until no dry flour remains.
Evenly divide cream base, demi-glace, and corn between trays. Add 1/2 cup water to each tray and stir to combine. Trays will be hot! Use a utensil. -
3 Bake Meal and Prepare Parsley
Bake again uncovered in hot oven until soup is bubbling, butternut squash is tender, and Italian sausage reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 15-20 minutes.
While meal bakes, stem parsley and tear leaves.Carefully remove trays from oven. Evenly divide butter (to taste) between trays and stir until melted and combined. Trays will be hot! Use a utensil.To serve, garnish with parsley. Bon appétit!
