  1. 1

    Assemble the Casserole

    Drain potatoes and pat dry.

In a microwave-safe bowl, combine carrot and celery blend, potatoes, and 2 tsp. water. Cover with a damp paper towel. Microwave covered until vegetable mixture is slightly tender, 4-6 minutes.

    Carefully remove from microwave.

While vegetable mixture microwaves, pat chicken dry.

Place chicken and vegetable mixture in prepared casserole dish. Toss with 2 tsp. olive oil, savory seasoning, 1/4 tsp. salt, and 1/4 tsp. pepper. Spread into an even layer. Wipe bowl clean and reserve.

  2. 2

    Bake Casserole and Add Sauce

Bake uncovered in hot oven until chicken reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 20-25 minutes.

Carefully remove from oven. Add flour and stir until no dry flour remains. Stir in poultry seasoning, chicken base, cream base, cream cheese, peas, 1 cup water, and a pinch of salt and pepper until combined. Casserole dish will be hot! Use a utensil/caution. Cream cheese will melt as meal bakes.

  3. 3

    Add Biscuits and Finish Meal

Place butter in reserved microwave-safe bowl. Microwave uncovered until melted, 30-60 seconds.

    Carefully remove from microwave.

    While butter microwaves, separate biscuits.

Evenly top casserole with biscuits, cut-side down, then top with butter. Some overlap is okay.

Bake uncovered in hot oven until chicken mixture is bubbling and biscuits are slightly toasted, 10-15 minutes.

Carefully remove from oven. Bon appétit!
