Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

Customize It Instructions

  • If using ground beef, break up until beef reaches minimum internal temperature, 4-6 minutes.

  • If using ground turkey, break up until turkey reaches minimum internal temperature, 6-8 minutes.

    Cook Gnocchi and Prepare Green Onions

    Trim and thinly slice green onions, keeping white and green portions separate.

    Line a plate with a paper towel.

    Place a large non-stick pan over medium heat and add 1 Tbsp. olive oil. Add gnocchi to hot pan. Stir occasionally until tender and golden brown, 5-7 minutes.

    Transfer gnocchi to towel-lined plate. Keep pan over medium heat; no need to wipe clean.

    Cook the Sausage

    Add 2 tsp. olive oil, Italian sausage, white portions of green onions, and leeks to hot pan. Stir occasionally until no pink remains and sausage reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 4-6 minutes.

    Add the Sauce

    Add cream base, chicken base, garlic pepper, lemon n herb seasoning, and half the cheese (reserve remaining for garnish) to hot pan. Stir occasionally until combined and cheese is melted, 1-2 minutes.

    Add Gnocchi and Finish Dish

    Add peas, spinach, and gnocchi to hot pan. Stir occasionally until spinach is wilted and peas are heated through, 1-2 minutes.

    Remove from burner and stir in lemon juice until combined.

    Plate dish as pictured on front of card, garnishing gnocchi with remaining cheese and green portions of green onions. Bon appétit!
