Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

Customize It Instructions

  • If using ground beef, cook in a medium non-stick pan over medium heat. Break up until beef reaches minimum internal temperature, 4-6 minutes.

  • If using ground turkey, cook in a medium non-stick pan with 2 tsp. olive oil over medium heat. Break up until turkey reaches minimum internal temperature, 6-8 minutes.

    Bake the Sausage

    Evenly divide Italian sausage between both provided trays, breaking into bite-sized pieces. Top each tray evenly with 1 tsp. olive oil.

    Bake uncovered in hot oven until sausage reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 10-15 minutes.

    While sausage bakes, continue recipe.

    Add the Sauce and Pasta

    Tear spinach leaves.

    After 10-15 minutes, carefully remove trays from oven.

    Evenly divide cream base, chicken base, spinach, garlic and parsley seasoning, pasta, Asiago, 1/4 tsp. salt, and 1/4 tsp. pepper between both trays. Stir to combine. and spread into an even layer. Trays will be hot! Use a utensil.

    Cover both trays with foil.

    Toast Panko and Finish Meal

    Bake both trays covered in hot oven until pasta is heated through, 15-20 minutes.

    While meal bakes, combine panko and 1 tsp. olive oil in a microwave-safe bowl.

    Microwave uncovered until golden-brown and toasted, 1-2 minutes, stirring once halfway through.

    Carefully remove from microwave and stir in Parmesan until combined. Set aside.

    Carefully remove trays from oven. Uncover and stir to combine. Trays will be hot! Use a utensil. If sauce is too thick, add water, 1 tsp. at a time, until desired consistency is reached.

    To serve, top pasta with panko. Bon appétit!
