Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

Customize It Instructions

  • If using ground beef, roast until loaves reach minimum internal temperature, 20-25 minutes.

    Start the Vegetables and Meatloaves

    Peel, trim, and cut carrot into 1/4" slices on an angle. If carrot is larger than 1" in diameter, halve before slicing.

    Place carrots, 2 tsp. olive oil, 1/4 tsp. salt, and a pinch of pepper on one half of prepared baking sheet. Massage oil and seasonings into carrots. Spread into an even layer on their side.

    In a mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, panko, sour cream, half the chimichurri seasoning (reserve remaining for sauce), and 1/4 tsp. salt.

    Form mixture into two equally-sized, oval-shaped loaves, about 3" in length and 2" by height. Place on empty side of baking sheet.

    Roast in hot oven, 10 minutes.

    While carrots and meatloaves roast, continue recipe.

    Prepare the Ingredients

    Trim yellow squash ends and cut into 1/2" rounds.

    Halve lemon lengthwise. Cut one half into wedges and juice the other half.

    In another mixing bowl, combine marinara sauce and remaining chimichurri. Set aside.

    Add the Squash and Sauce

    After 10 minutes, carefully remove sheet from oven.

    Stir yellow squash and 2 tsp. olive oil into carrots until combined. Sheet will be hot! Use a utensil.

    Evenly top meatloaves with sauce. Sheet will be hot! Use a utensil.

    Finish the Vegetables and Meatloaves and Finish Dish

    Roast in hot oven until vegetables are tender and meatloaves reach a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 10-15 minutes.

    Carefully remove sheet from oven. Stir softened butter and 2 tsp. lemon juice into vegetables until combined. Sheet will be hot! Use a utensil.

    To serve, top meatloaf with cheese. Slice meatloaf, if desired. Squeeze lemon wedges over to taste. Bon appétit!
