Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

Customize It Instructions

If using diced chicken breasts, pat dry. Stir occasionally until chicken reaches minimum internal temperature, 5-7 minutes.

If using ground turkey, break up until turkey reaches minimum internal temperature, 6-8 minutes.

If using shrimp, pat dry. Cook until pink and shrimp reach minimum internal temperature, 2-3 minutes per side.

1 Cook the Brussels Sprouts
Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil.
Add Brussels sprouts and a pinch of salt to hot pan. Stir occasionally until slightly tender, 3-4 minutes. -
2 Add the Beef
Add ground beef to hot pan. Break up meat until no pink remains and beef reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 4-6 minutes.
Drain any excess liquid. Pan will be hot! Use caution. -
3 Add the Beans
Drain and rinse beans in a colander/strainer.
Add beans, taco seasoning, and 1/4 tsp. salt to hot pan. Stir occasionally until combined, 1-2 minutes.Remove from burner.While beef mixture cooks, continue recipe. -
4 Make Salsa, Heat Tortillas, and Finish Dish
Wrap tortillas in a damp paper towel and microwave until warm, 30-60 seconds.
If tortillas come folded, keep folded.While tortillas microwave, in a mixing bowl, combine guacamole (to taste) and salsa (to taste). Set aside.Carefully remove tortillas from microwave.Plate dish as pictured on front of card, filling tortillas with beef mixture, shredded cheese, spring mix, guacamole-salsa mixture (to taste), and grated cheese.
