Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

Customize It Instructions

  • If using diced chicken breasts, pat dry. Stir occasionally until chicken reaches minimum internal temperature, 5-7 minutes.

  • If using ground turkey, break up until turkey reaches minimum internal temperature, 6-8 minutes.

  • If using steak strips, pat dry, coarsely chop, then separate pieces. Stir occasionally until steak reaches minimum internal temperature, 4-6 minutes. Rest, 3 minutes.

    Prepare the Ingredients

    Halve tomatoes. If you receive one whole tomato instead, not to worry; simply core tomato, cut into 1/2" dice, and proceed with recipe instructions.

    Mince garlic.

    Cook the Ground Beef

    Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat.

    Add ground beef, half the garlic salt (reserve remaining for vegetables), 1/2 tsp. salt, and a pinch of pepper to hot, dry pan. Break up meat until no pink remains and beef reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 4-6 minutes.

    Transfer ground beef to a plate. Keep pan over medium-high heat; no need to wipe clean.

    Cook the Vegetables

    Add 2 tsp. olive oil to hot pan.

    Add spinach in batches (don't overflow the pan) and stir occasionally until wilted, 2-3 minutes.

    Add garlic, tomatoes, and remaining garlic salt. Stir occasionally until tomatoes are tender and release their juices, 2-3 minutes.

    Add Pasta and Sauce and Finish Dish

    Add ground beef and any accumulated juices, cream base, softened cream cheese, grated cheese, lemon n herb seasoning, 1/4 tsp. salt, and a pinch of pepper to hot pan. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.

    Once simmering, stir occasionally until sauce is slightly thickened, 2-3 minutes.

    Add pasta and stir occasionally until heated through, 1-2 minutes.

    Remove from burner.
