You Will Need
- Olive Oil
- Salt
- Pepper
- 1 Mixing Bowl
- 1 Large Non-Stick Pan
Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
- Seafood 145° F |
- Chicken 165° F |
- Ground Beef 160° F |
- Ground Turkey 165° F |
- Ground Pork 160° F

1 Crisp the Bacon
Place a large non-stick pan over medium heat and add 1 tsp. olive oil.
Add bacon to hot pan and stir occasionally until crisp, 1-2 minutes. -
2 Cook the Turkey
Add ground turkey, garlic and parsley seasoning, 1/2 tsp. salt, and a pinch of pepper to hot pan with bacon.
Break up meat until no pink remains and turkey reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 7-9 minutes. -
3 Add the Sauce
Add tomato sauce, pesto, minced garlic and lemon basil, and 1/4 cup water to hot pan.
Reduce heat to medium-low and bring to a simmer.Once simmering, stir occasionally until sauce is slightly thickened, 4-5 minutes. -
4 Add the Pasta
Add pasta to hot pan and stir often until coated and heated through, 3-4 minutes.
Remove from burner. -
5 Make Ricotta and Finish Dish
In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta, 1 Tbsp. water, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping pasta with ricotta and Parmesan. Bon appètit!
