Before You Cook
Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
- Seafood 145° F |
- Chicken 165° F |
- Ground Beef 160° F |
- Ground Turkey 165° F |
- Ground Pork 160° F

If using ground beef, break up until beef reaches minimum internal temperature, 4-6 minutes.

If using ground turkey, break up until turkey reaches minimum internal temperature, 6-8 minutes.

1 Cook the Ground Pork
Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil.
Add ground pork, garlic salt, and a pinch of pepper to hot pan. Break up meat until no pink remains and pork reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 5-7 minutes. -
2 Add the Bok Choy
Add bok choy, 1/4 tsp. salt, and soy sauce to hot pan. Stir occasionally until combined and bok choy is slightly tender, 3-4 minutes.

3 Add the Sauce
Add sweet and sour sauce to hot pan. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.
Once simmering, remove from burner.While pork mixture cooks, continue recipe. -
4 Heat Rice and Finish Dish
Carefully massage rice in bag to break up any clumps and remove from packaging.
In a microwave-safe bowl, combine rice, edamame, 1/4 tsp. salt, and 2 tsp. olive oil. Cover with a damp paper towel.Microwave covered until heated through, 3-4 minutes.Carefully remove from microwave. Stir in softened butter until melted and combined. Rest, 2 minutes.Fluff rice with a fork.Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping rice with pork mixture. Garnish with wonton strips. Bon appétit!
