Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
- Seafood 145° F |
- Chicken 165° F |
- Ground Beef 160° F |
- Ground Turkey 165° F |
- Ground Pork 160° F

If using ground beef, break up until beef reaches minimum internal temperature, 4-6 minutes.

If using steak strips, pat dry, coarsely chop, then separate pieces. Stir occasionally until steak reaches minimum internal temperature, 4-6 minutes. Rest, 3 minutes.

1 Prepare the Ingredients
Cut cauliflower into 1” pieces.
Remove stem, seeds, and ribs, and cut bell pepper into 1" dice. Alternatively, reserve half the bell peppers for snacking/serving on the side.Trim and thinly slice green onions, keeping white and green portions separate.Mince garlic. -
2 Cook the Vegetables
Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil.
Add cauliflower and 1/4 cup water to hot pan. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.Once simmering, cover and cook until water is almost completely evaporated, 3-5 minutes.Uncover and add bell peppers, garlic, white portions of green onions, and garlic salt. Stir often until vegetables are slightly browned and tender, 5-7 minutes.Transfer vegetables to a plate. Keep pan over medium-high heat; no need to wipe clean. -
3 Cook the Turkey
Add 2 tsp. olive oil to hot pan.
Add ground turkey and 1/4 tsp. salt. Break up meat until no pink remains and turkey reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 5-7 minutes. -
4 Add the Vegetables and Sauce
Add vegetables, teriyaki glaze, and sesame oil to hot pan. Stir occasionally until combined and stir-fry is coated, 1-2 minutes.
Remove from burner.While stir-fry cooks, continue recipe. -
5 Heat Rice and Finish Dish
Carefully massage rice in bag to break up any clumps and remove from packaging. Place rice in a microwave-safe bowl.
Microwave uncovered until heated through, 3-4 minutes.Carefully remove from microwave. Rest, 2 minutes.Stir in a pinch of salt and fluff rice with a fork.Plate dish as pictured on front of card, serving rice with stir-fry. Garnish with dressing and green portions of green onions. Bon appétit!
