To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

Customize It Instructions

  • If using ground beef, break up until beef reaches minimum internal temperature, 4-6 minutes.

  1. 1

    Cook the Turkey

Place a large pot over medium-high heat and add 1 Tbsp. olive oil.

Add ground turkey to hot pot. Break up meat until no pink remains and turkey reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 7-9 minutes.

Transfer turkey to a plate. Keep pot over medium heat; no need to wipe clean.

    While turkey cooks, continue recipe.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Ingredients

    Coarsely crush peanuts.

Break broccoli into bite-sized pieces using hands.

Remove stem, seeds, and ribs, and cut bell pepper into 1/2" dice.

Trim and thinly slice green onions on an angle, keeping white and green portions separate.

  3. 3

    Start the Noodle Bowl

Add 2 tsp. olive oil, carrots, broccoli, bell peppers, 1/4 tsp. salt, and 1/4 cup water to hot pot. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.

Once simmering, cover and stir occasionally until vegetables are tender, 6-8 minutes.

  4. 4

Add Noodles and Sauce and Finish Dish

Add ground turkey, white portions of green onions, noodles, Asian garlic, ginger & chile seasoning (to taste), 1/4 cup water, soy sauce, teriyaki glaze, brown sugar, and a pinch of salt to hot pot. Kids not a fan of extra heat? Feel free to skip/reduce the Asian garlic, ginger & chile seasoning.

Stir occasionally until combined and sauce and noodles are heated through, 3-5 minutes.

    Remove from burner.

Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping noodle bowl with green portions of green onions and peanuts. Bon appétit!
