To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

If using antibiotic free chicken, pat dry. Cook until chicken reaches minimum internal temperature, 5-7 minutes per side.

If using shrimp, pat dry. Cook until pink and shrimp reach minimum internal temperature, 2-3 minutes per side.

1 Prepare the Ingredients
Remove stem, seeds, and ribs, and cut bell peppers into 1/4" dice.
Trim and thinly slice green onions on an angle, keeping white and green portions separate.Pat chicken dry and season all over with 1/4 tsp. salt and a pinch of pepper. -
2 Cook the Vegetables
Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil.
Add bell peppers, snow peas, white portions of green onions, and a pinch of salt to hot pan. Stir often until slightly tender, 2-3 minutes. -
3 Add the Chicken
Add 1 tsp. olive oil, chicken, and 1/4 tsp. salt to hot pan. Stir occasionally until golden-brown and chicken reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 5-7 minutes.

4 Add the Sauces
Add garlic sesame sauce, soy sauce, and 1 Tbsp. butter to hot pan. Stir often until combined and chicken mixture is coated, 1-2 minutes.
Remove from burner and stir in walnuts until combined.While chicken mixture cooks, continue recipe. -
5 Heat Rice and Finish Dish
Carefully massage rice in bag to break up any clumps and remove from packaging. Place rice in a microwave-safe bowl.
Microwave uncovered until heated through, 3-4 minutes.Carefully remove from microwave and stir in green portions of green onions until combined. Rest, 2 minutes. Fluff rice with a fork.Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping chicken mixture with sesame seeds. Bon appétit!
