Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

If using ground beef, add to a medium non-stick pan over medium heat. Break up until beef reaches minimum internal temperature, 4-6 minutes.

1 Start the Turkey and Broccoli
Break broccoli into bite-sized pieces using hands.
Evenly divide broccoli, turkey, and minced garlic and chili pepper (use less if spice-averse) between both trays, breaking turkey into bite-sized pieces. Kids not a fan of extra heat? Feel free to skip/reduce the minced garlic and chili pepper.Stir 1 tsp. olive oil and 1/4 tsp. salt into each tray. Spread into a single layer.Bake both trays uncovered, 18 minutes.While turkey and broccoli bake, continue recipe. -
2 Add the Sauce
Drain mandarin oranges in a colander/strainer.
After 18 minutes, carefully remove both trays from oven. Drain any excess liquid. Tray will be hot!Evenly divide cornstarch between trays and stir until no dry cornstarch remains. Then, evenly divide oranges, garlic sesame sauce, and yuzu dipping sauce between trays and stir to combine.Bake both trays uncovered in hot oven until broccoli is tender and turkey reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees and broccoli is tender, 10-15 minutes.Carefully remove from oven.While meal bakes, continue recipe. -
3 Heat Rice and Finish Meal
Carefully massage rice in bag to break up any clumps and remove from packaging.
Place rice in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave uncovered until heated through, 3-4 minutes.Carefully remove from microwave. Stir in softened butter and 1/4 tsp. salt until combined. Rest, 2 minutes.Fluff rice with a fork.To serve, top rice with turkey mixture. Garnish with sesame seeds. Bon appétit!
