Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

    Cut veggies

    Halve and peel onion. Slice halves into thin strips. Trim and thinly slice green onions on an angle, keeping white and green portions separate.

    Start Veggies

    Place a medium non-stick pan over medium heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil. Add onions, carrots and stir occasionally until tender and lightly browned, 6-8 minutes. Add cabbage and cook until cabbage is slightly wilted. 1-2 minutes. Set veggies aside.

    Cook pork

    "Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat. Add 2 tsp. olive oil and ground pork, 1/4tsp salt, ginger and garlic seasoning, whites from green onions and minced ginger to hot pan.

    Break up meat until no pink remains and pork reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 5-7 minutes. " Add noodles, teriyaki, 1/4 cup water, cooked veggies and stir until everything is hot. 2-3 minutes.

    Plate the meal

    Garnish with sesame seeds and green onion tops.
