Before You Cook
Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
- Seafood 145° F |
- Chicken 165° F |
- Ground Beef 160° F |
- Ground Turkey 165° F |
- Ground Pork 160° F

1 Start the Risotto
Carefully massage rice in bag to break up any clumps. Remove rice from packaging. Set aside.
Evenly divide cream base, Bolognese, garlic salt, cream cheese, rice, and a pinch of salt and pepper between both provided trays. Add 2 Tbsp. water to each tray.Stir to combine and spread into an even layer. Cover trays with foil.Bake both trays covered in hot oven until heated through, 12-15 minutes. -
2 Add the Cheese and Peas
Carefully remove trays from oven. Evenly divide peas and Parmesan between both trays and stir to combine. Spread into an even layer. Top each tray with mozzarella. Trays will be hot! Use a utensil.

3 Bake the Meal
Bake both trays again uncovered in hot oven until risotto is bubbling and cheese is melted, 15-20 minutes.
While meal bakes, coarsely crush crackers.Carefully remove trays from oven.To serve, garnish with crushed crackers and red pepper flakes (to taste). Bon appétit!
