Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
- Seafood 145° F |
- Chicken 165° F |
- Ground Beef 160° F |
- Ground Turkey 165° F |
- Ground Pork 160° F

1 Cook the Ground Turkey
Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil.
Add ground turkey, 1/2 tsp. salt, and 1/4 tsp. pepper to hot pan. Break up meat until no pink remains and turkey reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 7-9 minutes. -
2 Add the Sauce
Add flour to hot pan and stir until no dry flour remains.
Add cream base, chicken base, 1/4 cup water, seasoned salt, mustard (to taste), and half the cheese (reserve remaining for garnish). Stir to combine and bring to simmer. -
3 Add the Peas
Once simmering, add peas to hot pan. Stir occasionally until heated through, 1-2 minutes.
Remove from burner.While turkey mixture cooks, continue recipe. -
4 Heat Noodles and Finish Dish
Place noodles in a microwave-safe bowl and cover with a damp paper towel.
Microwave covered until heated through, 2-3 minutes.Carefully remove from microwave. Stir in softened butter until melted and combined.Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping noodles with turkey mixture. Garnish with remaining cheese. Bon appétit!
