Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

    Start the Broccoli

    Break broccoli into bite-sized pieces using hands.

    In one provided tray, combine broccoli, potato spice seasoning, and 2 tsp. olive oil. Massage oil and seasoning into broccoli. Spread into an even layer and cover with foil.

    Bake covered in hot oven, 15 minutes.

    While broccoli bakes, continue recipe.

    Make Meatloaves and Add Rice

    In a mixing bowl, combine turkey, garlic salt, a pinch of pepper, half the cheese (reserve remaining for garnish), and panko. Form meat mixture into 4 equally-sized, oval-shaped loaves, about 3" in length and 2" by height. Place loaves in second provided tray.

    After 15 minutes, carefully remove broccoli from oven and push to one side of tray.

    Carefully massage rice in bag to break up any clumps. Remove rice from packaging and place in now-empty side of broccoli tray with 1/4 tsp. salt. Tray will be hot! Use a utensil.

    Cover rice side of tray with foil.

    Bake Meal and Heat Sauce

    Bake both trays (meatloaves uncovered, rice side of broccoli tray covered) in hot oven until broccoli is tender and meatloaves reach a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 20-25 minutes.

    While meal bakes, place marinara in a microwave-safe bowl and cover with a damp paper towel.

    Microwave covered until hot, 35-45 seconds.

    Carefully remove from microwave. Stir in Tuscan herb butter (to taste) until melted and combined.

    Carefully remove trays from oven. Stir garlic and herb butter into rice until melted and combined. Tray will be hot! Use a utensil.

    To serve, top meatloaf with sauce (to taste) and garnish broccoli with remaining cheese. Bon appétit!
