To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

If using antibiotic free chicken, follow same instructions.

If using sirloin steaks, pat dry. Cook until steak reaches desired doneness, or 4-6 minutes per side for medium/medium-well. Rest, 3 minutes. Steak thickness can vary; if you receive a thinner steak, we recommend checking for doneness sooner.

1 Cook the Chicken
Pat chicken dry. Season both sides with garlic salt and 1/4 tsp. pepper.
Place a large non-stick pan over medium heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil.Add chicken to hot pan. Cook until browned and chicken reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 5-7 minutes per side.Remove from burner.While chicken cooks, continue recipe. -
2 Cook the Zucchini
Trim zucchini ends, halve lengthwise, and cut into 1/2” half-moons.
Place another large non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil.Add zucchini and 1/4 tsp. salt to hot pan. Stir occasionally until slightly browned and tender, 5-7 minutes.Remove from burner. Stir in a pinch of salt and za'atar seasoning until combined.While zucchini cooks, continue recipe. -
3 Make the Rice Pilaf
Carefully massage rice in bag to break up any clumps and remove from packaging.
Place rice in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave uncovered until heated through, 3-4 minutes.Carefully remove from microwave. Rest, 2 minutes.Stir in softened lemon garlic butter, dried apricots, almonds, and 1/4 tsp. salt until combined. Fluff rice with a fork. -
4 Make Sauce and Finish Dish
In another microwave-safe bowl, combine apricot preserves and plain butter.
Microwave uncovered until butter is melted, 20-30 seconds.Carefully remove from microwave and stir to combine.Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping chicken with sauce and garnishing zucchini with cheese. Slice chicken, if desired. Bon appétit!
