Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
- Seafood 145° F |
- Chicken 165° F |
- Ground Beef 160° F |
- Ground Turkey 165° F |
- Ground Pork 160° F

1 Start the Potatoes
Turn oven on to 425 degrees. Let preheat, at least 10 minutes. Thoroughly rinse any fresh produce and pat dry. Drain potatoes.
Place potatoes, bacon, garlic pepper, and 2 tsp. olive oil in provided tray. Bake uncovered in hot oven, 10 minutes. -
2 Form the Meatballs
In a mixing bowl, combine half the BBQ sauce (reserve remaining for garnish), ground beef, seasoned salt, and cheese.
Form mixture into eight equally-sized meatballs.Carefully remove tray from oven. Push potatoes to one side. Tray will be hot! Use a utensil.Place meatballs in empty side of tray. -
3 Bake the Dish
Bake uncovered in hot oven until meatballs reach a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 20-24 minutes.
Carefully remove tray from oven. Top meatballs with remaining BBQ sauce. Bon appétit!
