To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

- Ground Turkey 165° F |

Customize It Instructions

If using diced chicken breasts, pat dry. Cook in a medium non-stick pan with 2 tsp. olive oil over medium heat until chicken reaches minimum internal temperature, 5-7 minutes.

If using ground turkey, roast until logs reach minimum internal temperature, 17-20 minutes.

1 Prepare the Potatoes
Place potatoes and 1 Tbsp. water in a microwave-safe bowl. Cover with a damp paper towel. Microwave covered until tender, 4-6 minutes.
Carefully remove from microwave and transfer to a clean, flat work surface. Potatoes will be hot! Use caution.Using the flat side of an object, press down gently to smash each potato until 1/2" thick. -
2 Prepare the Ingredients
Core tomato, halve lengthwise, and cut into 1/2” half-moons.
Halve and peel onion. Cut halves into 1/4" slices.In a mixing bowl, combine panko and 3 Tbsp. water. Let sit, 1 minute.After 1 minute, add ground beef, chile and cumin rub, half the garlic salt (reserve remaining for potatoes), and a pinch of salt and pepper. Stir until thoroughly combined. Form beef mixture into 4 evenly-sized meatballs. Roll meatballs into 4" logs. -
3 Roast the Beef and Vegetables
Place potatoes evenly on one half of prepared baking sheet and top with 1 tsp. olive oil and remaining garlic salt. Massage oil and seasoning into potatoes.
Place onions on empty half, spreading into an even layer. Top onions with beef logs.Roast in hot oven until vegetables are tender and beef reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 13-15 minutes.Carefully remove from oven. Rest, 3 minutes.While beef and vegetables roast, continue recipe. -
4 Toast Flatbreads and Finish Dish
Toast flatbreads as desired. Alternatively, place flatbreads directly on oven rack, flat-side down. Toast in hot oven until lightly browned, 3-4 minutes.
Carefully remove from oven.Plate dish as pictured on front of card, filling flatbreads with beef, onions, and tomatoes. Top with tzatziki and cheese. Bon appétit!
