  • 1 Large Non-Stick Pan
  • 1 Colander/Strainer

Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

Customize It Instructions

  • Meatlovers! If using protein, cook in a medium non-stick pan over medium heat with 1 tsp. olive oil. 

  • If using diced chicken breasts, pat dry. Stir occasionally until chicken reaches minimum internal temperature, 5-7 minutes.

  • If using ground beef, break up until beef reaches minimum internal temperature, 4-6 minutes. 

  • If using ground turkey, break up until turkey reaches minimum internal temperature, 6-8 minutes. 

  • Add protein to meal as desired.

    Prepare the Ingredients

    Drain and rinse chickpeas in a colander/strainer.

    Remove stem, seeds, and ribs, and cut bell pepper into 1/2" dice.

    Mince cilantro.

    Halve and peel onion. Cut one half into 1/2" dice (remaining half is yours to use as you please!).

    Cook the Chickpea Mixture

    Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil.

    Add bell peppers, onions, and garlic salt to hot pan. Stir occasionally until vegetables are tender, 6-8 minutes.

    Add chickpeas and curry powder. Stir often until combined and chickpeas are slightly tender, 3-4 minutes.

    Add tomatoes, 1/3 the creme fraiche (reserve remaining for crema), and 2 Tbsp. water. Stir often until combined and chickpea mixture is coated, 1-2 minutes.

    Remove from burner.

    Assemble the Pizzas

    Place flatbreads on prepared baking sheet. Evenly top with chickpea mixture, then cheese.

    Bake the Pizzas

    Bake in hot oven until flatbreads have browned and cheese is melted, 10-12 minutes.

    Carefully remove from oven.

    While pizzas bake, continue recipe.

    Make Cilantro Crema and Finish Dish

    In a mixing bowl, combine remaining creme fraiche, lemon juice, 1 Tbsp. water, and cilantro.

    Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping pizza with cilantro crema. Quarter pizza, if desired. Bon appétit!
