Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

  • Chicken 165° F |

  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

    Start the Green Beans

    Turn oven on to 425 degrees. Let preheat, at least 10 minutes. Wash hands thoroughly with soap and warm water before cooking, and after handling raw meat. Remove all produce from any packaging or constraints, then thoroughly rinse and pat dry.

    In one provided tray, combine green beans, 1 tsp. olive oil, and 1 Tbsp. water. Cover tray with foil. Bake covered in hot oven, 10 minutes.

    Add the Chicken

    After 10 minutes, carefully remove green beans from oven. Uncover and season with 1/4 tsp. salt and half the taco seasoning (reserve remaining for chicken). Cover tray with foil.

    Pat chicken dry and season both sides with remaining taco seasoning and a pinch of salt.

    Spray second provided tray with cooking spray and add chicken to tray.

    Bake Meal and Make Sauce

    Bake both trays (chicken uncovered, green beans covered) in hot oven until green beans are tender and chicken reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 20-25 minutes.

    In a microwave-safe bowl, combine butter and chicken base. Cover with a damp paper towel. Microwave covered, 30 seconds.

    Stem and tear cilantro.

    Halve lime. Cut one half into wedges and juice the other half.

    Carefully remove trays from oven and bowl from microwave. Add crème fraîche to bowl with sauce and stir to combine.

    To serve, top chicken with sauce, crispy red peppers, and cilantro. Garnish green beans with 1 Tbsp. lime juice and cheese. Squeeze lime wedges over chicken to taste. Bon appétit!
