Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

If using antibiotic free chicken, pat dry. Cook until chicken reaches minimum internal temperature, 5-7 minutes per side.

If using shrimp, pat dry. Cook until pink and shrimp reach minimum internal temperature, 2-3 minutes per side.

If using steak strips, pat dry, coarsely chop, then separate pieces. Stir occasionally until steak reaches minimum internal temperature, 4-6 minutes. Rest, 3 minutes.

1 Cook the Chicken
Pat chicken dry and season all over with a pinch of salt and half the buttermilk-dill seasoning (reserve remaining for cool ranch).
Place a large non-stick pan over medium heat and add 1 tsp. olive oil.Add chicken to hot pan. Stir occasionally until golden-brown and chicken reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 5-7 minutes.Transfer chicken to a plate. Wipe pan clean and keep over medium heat. -
2 Make the Sauce
Add cream base, flour, and 1/2 cup water to hot pan. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.
Once simmering, add ranch seasoning, shredded cheese, 2 Tbsp. butter, and cream cheese. Stir often until combined and sauce is slightly thickened, 2-3 minutes. -
3 Add the Spinach and Pasta
Add spinach in batches (don't overflow pan), 1/4 tsp. salt, and pasta to hot pan. Stir often until spinach is wilted and pasta is heated through, 3-4 minutes.
Remove from burner.While sauce and pasta cook, continue recipe. -
4 Make Cool Ranch and Finish Dish
Place bacon in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave until crisp, 1-2 minutes.
Carefully remove from microwave. Stir in creme fraiche, remaining buttermilk-dill seasoning, and 2 Tbsp. water.Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping pasta with chicken. Garnish with cool ranch. Bon appétit!
