Before You Cook
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

Ground Beef 160° F |
Ground Turkey 165° F |
Ground Pork 160° F
Prepare the Broccoli
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. When ingredient appears in recipe, remove from packaging. Thoroughly rinse any fresh produce and pat dry.
Break up any large broccoli pieces. Combine broccoli and 2 tsp. olive. oil in provided tray and spread into single layer.
Bake uncovered in hot oven, 10 minutes.
Add the Chicken
Carefully remove from oven. Add garlic salt and stir to combine. Push broccoli to one side and top with cheese. Tray will be hot! Use a utensil.
Crumble garlic cheese.
Pat chicken dry, and season both sides with ¼ tsp. salt and a pinch of pepper.
Place chicken in empty side of tray and top evenly with mayonnaise and crumbled garlic cheese.
Bake the Meal
Bake uncovered in hot oven until chicken reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 20-25 minutes. (Check time Ryan had 15; picture me shaking my head)
Carefully remove from oven. Top with crispy onions. Bon appétit!
