Before You Cook

Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

Customize It Instructions

  • If using antibiotic free chicken, follow same instructions.

    Start the Potatoes

    Cut potatoes into 1/2" dice.

    Place potatoes and 1 tsp. water in a microwave-safe bowl. Cover with a damp paper towel.

    Microwave covered until slightly tender, 6-8 minutes.

    Carefully remove from microwave.

    Finish the Potatoes

    Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 1 Tbsp. olive oil.

    Add potatoes to hot pan. Stir occasionally until browned and tender, 8-10 minutes.

    If pan is dry, add additional water, 1 Tbsp. at a time, as needed.

    Stir in lemon n herb seasoning, garlic pepper, and 1/4 tsp. salt until combined, 1-2 minutes.

    Remove from burner.

    While potatoes cook, continue recipe.

    Cook the Chicken

    Pat chicken dry. Season both sides with garlic and parsley seasoning and 1/4 tsp. salt.

    Place another large non-stick pan over medium heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil.

    Add chicken to hot pan. Cook until browned and chicken reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 5-7 minutes per side.

    Transfer chicken to a plate and tent with foil. Wipe pan clean and keep over medium heat.

    Make Sauce and Finish Dish

    Add 1 Tbsp. salted butter and mushrooms to hot pan. Stir occasionally until mushrooms are slightly tender, 1-2 minutes.

    Add cream cheese, mushroom base, a pinch of pepper, and 3 Tbsp. water. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.

    Once simmering, stir often until sauce is slightly thickened, 1-2 minutes.

    Remove from burner.

    Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping chicken with sauce. Slice chicken, if desired. Bon appétit!
