Recipe Steps

    Prepare the Ingredients

    Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Remove lid and label, if necessary. When ingredient appears in recipe, remove from packaging. Combine rice, ½ cup water, chicken base, mushrooms, and onions in provided tray until completely combined. Spread into a single layer.

    Add Chicken and Topping

    Place chicken on rice and cover evenly with mayonnaise and fig preserves, spreading evenly on chicken with the back of a spoon. Be sure to cover chicken entirely. Tear mozzarella in half, and place on chicken.

    Finish the Dish

    Bake uncovered in hot oven until rice is tender and chicken reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 25-30 minutes. Carefully remove from oven. Rest chicken 5 minutes. Bon appétit!
