If using diced chicken breasts, pat dry. Cook in a medium non-stick pan with 2 tsp. olive oil over medium heat until chicken reaches minimum internal temperature, 5-7 minutes.

1 Start the Vegetables
Prick potatoes all over with a fork.
Place potatoes in a microwave-safe bowl and cover with a damp paper towel. Microwave covered until slightly tender, 5-7 minutes.Carefully remove from microwave. Transfer potatoes to a clean, flat work surface. Using the flat side of an object, press down gently to smash each potato until 1/2" thick.In provided tray, combine potatoes, 2 tsp. olive oil, and savory seasoning. Push to one side. Place onions in empty side of tray and toss with 1 tsp. olive oil.Bake uncovered in hot oven, 10 minutes.While vegetables bake, continue recipe. -
2 Add Steak Strips and Bake Meal
Pat steak strips dry. Coarsely chop, then separate pieces. Season all over with 3/4 the mushroom seasoning (reserve remaining for sauce) and a pinch of salt and pepper.
After 10 minutes, carefully remove tray from oven. Stir steak strips and half the beef base (reserve remaining for sauce) into onions until combined.Bake uncovered in hot oven until potatoes are browned, onions are tender, and steak strips reach a minimum internal temperature of 145 degrees, 13-18 minutes.Carefully remove tray from oven. Evenly top steak strip mixture with cheese. Rest, 3 minutes.While meal bakes, continue recipe. -
3 Heat Rolls, Make Sauce, and Finish Meal
Heat rolls to your preference using a toaster or microwave.
Alternatively, place rolls directly on rack in hot oven, cut side up. Toast until lightly browned, 3-4 minutes.Place butter and remaining mushroom seasoning in another microwave-safe bowl. Microwave uncovered until butter is melted, 20-30 seconds.Carefully remove from microwave. Stir in remaining beef base and 1/4 cup water. Microwave again uncovered until heated through, 30-60 seconds. Carefully remove from microwave.To serve, fill roll with steak strip mixture. Serve sauce on side for dipping. Bon appétit!
