Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

    Prepare the Ingredients

    Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Thoroughly rinse any fresh produce and pat dry. Mix green beans, garlic salt, 2 tsp. olive oil, and a pinch of salt and pepper in provided tray until beans are coated. Spread into an even layer. Bake uncovered in hot oven, 15 minutes.

    Add the Chicken

    Carefully, remove tray from oven. Stir green beans and push to one side. Tray will be hot! Use a utensil. Pat chicken dry, and add to empty side of tray. Top with a pinch of salt and pepper, caramelized onion jam, then cheese.

    Bake the Dish

    Bake again uncovered until green beans are tender and chicken reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 23-28 minutes. Carefully remove from oven. Remove chicken to a plate and rest, 3 minutes. Carefully drain excess liquid from tray. Stir demi-glace, butter, lemon juice, and half the black pepper into tray until butter is melted. Taste, and add more black pepper if desired. Garnish green beans with crispy onions. Bon appétit!
